No.1: Yoko Kubo - Violin recital
26 April 2007 (Thu)
Yoko Kubo won the 3rd prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1962, the 2nd prize at the Paganini International Violin Competition and at the Concours Long-Thibaud. Many other awards followed. In Switzerland she studied with the great maestro Joseph Szigeti. Today, Yoko Kubo teaches at the Tokyo University of Music.


No.2: Momoko Kamiya - The charm of marimba

Graduated from the Juilliard Institute of Music, Momoko Kamiya appears regularly in Japan and abroad. Playing the world's largest percussion instrument, she received standing ovations from more than 1500 spectators at the PASIC festival, standing out for her strength on the Marimba.


No.3: Tomoki Kitamura - Piano recital

Born in 1991, Tomoki Kitamura belongs to the next generation of Japanese musicians. In 2003 he won the 1st prize at a nationwide student music competition and participated in numerous international music competitions. His technical skills and his musical maturity make him a surprising artist. Take this chance and listen to one of the piano masters of the future.

No.4: Väsen - Traditional Swedish music with a modern attitude

Väsen is a unique Scandinavian traditional music group that has performed with Kronos Quartet, world famous musicians, and has been awarded with the Swedish Grammy Award. Their expressive play on stage captivates all audiences.


No.5: Yasuaki Itakura & friends - Woodwind trio
17 January 2008 (Thu)
Japan's most prominent woodwind players compose this trio: the splendid contemporary music player Yasuaki Itakura, the first player of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra Isao Tsuji and the bassoonist Shunji Inoue. Loaded with sentiments and sensitivity, this trio is true chamber music at its best!


No.6: Anna-Maria Panzella Recital
28 February 2008 (Thu)
Born in Grenoble, the French soprano studied singing at the Geneva Music Institute and the Royal College of Music of London. In 1993 she gave her opera debut at the Grand Theatre of Geneva. Later on she performed at the opera Chatelet, the opera houses of Lyon, Lausanne, Monnaie and on other world famous stages. She has recorded more than 15 CDs and DVDs.
