Promising talent, Amir Tebenikhin, carrying on the tradition of Russian pianism, in his greatly anticipated Japan premiere.
Amir Tebenikhin was born in 1977 in Kaliningrad, Soviet Union (now Koenigsberg, Russia) and has performed debut recitals at New York's Carnegie Hall, London's Wigmore Hall, and Paris' Pleyel Hall, also having won many awards to present. He has been busy with performances in France, Poland, and Russia, being invited to music festivals around the world. At the International Music Competition in Geneva recently, while not among the finalists, he left a deep impression on the judges with his fresh performance in the tradition of Russian pianism. He has already released a record under the NAXOS label in the U.K., including pieces by Brahms, Debussy, and Prokofiev.
